Both of our Coaches are UEFA, NSCAA & USSF qualified and currently work in Premier & High School programs in the Connecticut area. Including King School coach Darren Gourlay & Chelsea Piers Technical Director Ross Stride. With outstanding backgrounds as players and a combined 30 years of coaching experience, Ross and Darren bring both passion and expertise to the soccer field, helping you develop into an elite level player!

Ross
Ross has made several stops throughout Europe and the United States during his extensive coaching and playing career. His coaching resume includes the Scottish Football Association, Kansas City Football Club, KC Select Soccer Club, Sporting KC and time at the ECNL (Elite Clubs National League)
A native of Glasgow, Scotland, Stride has achieved coaching badges in the SFA for Early Touches and Coaching Young Footballers. He also has a badge for the Futbol de Salo Futsal . Additionally, Stride has both advanced national diplomas from the NSCAA and has recently completed his UEFA B diploma.
Darren
Darren has been working in Connecticut for over 9 years. Originally from Edinburgh Scotland, where he worked with the SFA and in professional soccer academies he came to the USA to follow his ambition of coaching elite youth, high school &collegiate athletes.
Darren has an array of coaching qualifications including SFA , NSCAA , USSF and UEFA certificates. Following an extensive playing background in soccer Darren moved into coaching at 16 years old and wants to use his knowledge and experience to develop technically gifted, intelligent soccer players in the United States.
